Descriptions and links to some of the websites we've had the
pleasure of working on recently.
Graphics

Static and animated graphics samples.
| Pictures are a basic form of
communication. We used them long before printed words appeared. They bring
life to a website, and help visitors find what they want. There's a
problem, though: Pictures can take considerable time to transmit over the
Internet. You don't want to leave your visitors waiting around for them to
load. Compunet Services
designers understand the importance of good graphics. Using state-of-the-art
hardware and software, they create professional-looking graphics that are
optimized for online use. They've mastered the balancing act of producing
graphics that look good and load fast.
Here are some attention-getting banners, icons, and other graphics
created by our digital artists. (Please note that these are examples only,
and will not link to other sites if clicked.)

| LOGO ADAPTATION |
| Here is a logo supplied by one of our clients. This
design worked well for print media, but did not migrate well to the
computer screen. We took advantage of modern graphic "depth" techniques
to make it considerably more vivid and attention-getting on screen,
while still capturing the look of the original. |

Image Scanning

Scanning samples of prints, slides, negatives, and other artwork, plus
samples of our image manipulation techniques.
| At CompuNet
Services , we take scanning seriously. Our imaging experts
can make bad photos look good and good photos look great. Your logos, line
art, and other business graphics will look sharp and accurate on the
computer screen. Here are some examples:

| This photo was scanned from a 35mm color print. It was
then color-corrected, reduced, and sharpened. Our specialized
image-sharpening process avoids the "halos" associated with standard
processes. |

Multimedia

Streaming audio, video, MIDI, and more.
| Depending on your website's
focus, you may wish to include multimedia elements. If you're in the
entertainment industry, multimedia is a must—but other types of businesses
and organizations will benefit as well. Streaming videos—videos the visitor
can watch in real time—can show off products in ways that static pictures
can't.
We have extensive experience creating multimedia for all types of
websites. Used properly, multimedia is an effective sales tool that
generates word-of-mouth advertising and lures people back to your site.

| MIDI AND MP3 MUSIC SAMPLES |
| Here are some examples of original music
from the CompuNet
Services Music Department. Click the links to hear
them.
INTRODUCTION - This short MIDI file can be embedded in a home or
"splash" page, where it will play automatically. Because MIDI is a very
efficient data format, the file takes only a second to download over a
standard modem.
WESTERN THEME - This extended-length MIDI is an example of a custom
theme. We can create MIDI arrangements for you in almost any style.
FUNKY THEME - This is an MP3 file, a format for playing music over
the Internet at near-CD quality. This format is most appropriate for
music demos.

|
| ONLINE VIDEO |
| PARA-CYCLE PROMO - This client's video was digitized for
use on their website (used here by permission). The streaming RealMedia
format plays in real-time; the visitor doesn't need to download the entire
video before viewing |
